friend. Give your consent to become a pen friend. In your letter, you are
expected to give your interests and other relevant details.
▪ Write a letter to your friend describing how you have enjoyed Football
World Cup Finals with another friend of yours. Also tell him/her how much
you missed his/her company.
▪ Write a letter to your friend who is coming from abroad to visit you. Give
him/her directions to enable him/her to reach your house.
▪ Write a letter to your friend wishing him for his birthday and explain why
you cannot attend his party.
▪ You have organised a Harry Potter theme party for some underprivileged
children. A friend of yours is a very good actor on stage. Write a letter
requesting him/her to impersonate any character from any one of the books
to entertain the children.
▪ Write a letter to your friend how you celebrated Teacher’s Day in your
school.
